The New Men in My Life

Well, I have some pictures to share of the furry one. The neighbor found him in his field one night and called to make sure we hadn't lost a kitten. The next night we decided to go see if it was still there. It was, of course. I was thinking probably a 4-6 month old kitten when the neighbor called, but when Ronnie pulled this wee little thing out of an alfalfa plant, I couldn't leave it. Meet Tuck -- he is quite the little stinker, but he is giving us all a good laugh between the times we are nursing our wounds. (I had the picture stuff set up already, so I decided to snap a few of him too.)

The other little man is busy having a party in my tummy. That's right, we are expecting a boy! We have pictures of him too, but I don't have my scanner hooked up at the moment. My son is very excited to have a brother. We are a little over half-way there and planning to meet this little guy towards the end of November/beginning of December.

So Handsome ~ Farmington NM Family Photographer

Such a handsome family (with a pretty mom)! The outdoor photos sounded like a good idea, but this was about the time when it was snowing cotton. The day was rather overcast too & humid, so the mosquitoes were rather thick for the afternoon. They endured it all like champs though.

The little guy was celebrating his first birthday, so he got to tear into a cake. He liked the icing, but the cake, not so much. Thanks again for contacting me. You have a great family!

Tea Party ~ Farmington NM Custom Photographer

Sorry for such a long hiatus from the blog. I'm still getting back into the swing of things after our 4th of July camping trip. It was lots of fun, but it has put me behind! (Yeah, there are many photos to come)

I did these for Carsyn's 3 1/2 year photos right before we left. It was the first time she ever cried when the photo session was over! Now that is a change. She keeps asking to go back and do another tea party. A collage of some of these is going to be one of the new additions to her new room. Now I just have to get it done.

I know there is a lot of color variation in these. Between my shooting angle and the light quickly changing, I had a wide variety of looks.

I just can't help but adore my ornery little girl! BTW, Mr. Bear has been her sleeping lovey since she was about 14 months, so he was a meaningful addition to the pics.
