She was such a sweetie to photograph. She gave so many great smiles and is such a cute little thing too! You can't help but love happy babies. Six months is such a good age with a little one!

Purple Field ~ Farmington NM Portrait Photographer

I saw these purple flowers (aka weeds) blossoming down in the pasture, and I knew I had to get down there for a few pictures before the cows ate them all. Now convincing my husband I *needed* to take these pictures was another thing. He had to move the cows for me -- something about squatting down in a field with my baby girl and my back turned to a bull makes me a tad nervous. I finally nagged him into it, and I am glad I did! Its hard to find open flower fields in this area. Here's a few favorites. The lighting conditions kept changing as the sun went in and out of the clouds, so we got a couple different looks. Hopefully this little patch will come back next year!

Some With the Kiddos

Somewhere along the way, I got the idea I wanted some shots of the kids and me together. We did these back in March, just after I found that #3 was on the way. At least we got them done before the hormones hit and I broke out 10x worse than a teenager. I'm glad we kept the set-up simple since will need to add some more next year. We did these with the camera's self-timer. I swear the kids look at the beeping camera better than they do for me when I'm behind it. Anyways . . . just thought I would share a few here.
