Nick is Back

and he is cuter than ever! He is now 7 months old and was so good for his pictures. We got many smiles this go around. I had to share several because I couldn't pick just a couple of favs.

The Bowens & Silvas

Our goal was to get a shot of the five kiddos together. That proved to be a challenge! We still got some great shots of each of the kids. They are all so cute and soooo photogenic!

There are several pictures here, but my new little niece is too cute not to show off! She is a beauty and such a wonderful baby (my brother surely did not deserve that!). We had a photo session when we went to meet her in Cruces.

Textured Images

First, I just want to share the new addition to the family. It's a long story, but let's just say it involves my husband and son and a trip to the feedstore. Gatlin named his little duck himself -- "Slanky." I got some cute photos of the two together, so I had to share.


Now, on to the texture. I just wanted to show some effects that can be done to enhance your photos. If you like this look, please let me know. I will try to pick a few of the images best suited for this processing during my editing, and show you during proofing.

This photo has a light texture and a vintage color.


The photos of Gatlin and Carsyn alone were processed using the same linen-like texture. The image of the two together has a "grunge" texture applied.

Outdoor Shots

I have been needing to practice taking more outdoor shots using natural light and the weather is finally cooperating! Here are some more shots of Gatlin and Carsyn. They always get compliments on their eyes, and Wow! did they show up in these shots.
