Cute Cowboy ~ Farmington NM Photography
I am so lucky the family of this litttle guy let me help to capture his first year. He is just the cutest. His one-year storyboard is at the end of the post (newborn, 6-month, 1-year). All of the photos are with his grandfather's saddle and chaps. Do they really have to grow so fast in one year?

Western Baby ~ Farmington NM Newborn Photography
This little western series has been printed and hung up! I really wanted these shots, but they weren't the easiest to get. Little Holt had to be completely milk drunk for the first two. And I want to mention -- there is some photoshop magic going on here!! These were shot on a black drop so I could easily paint away any part of dad that was showing in the photo. My hubby was actually holding up the hat brim in the 2nd photo -- hand and arm were painted out in photoshop, and in the first I took out a leg, boot, and arms/hands right next to baby in the first. Sometimes people do these shots and don't explain how they were done. The hat is Holt's grandpa's (he has a big head!), and the saddle and boots are his daddy's.

The Last of Fall ~ Kirtland, NM Photography
I think I'm almost caught up sharing from 2010 ( except for my personal photos). I have been fortunate enough to photograph this little lady since she was just a week or two old. This was the first time we had done photos since she truly got her legs under her though, and that is way more interesting than a crazy lady sticking a black thing in your face. This day, she just wanted to walk! She looks pretty stinkin' cute doing it too.
